Lovely Port Elizabeth vibes ❤️
Had the best time chilling in such a lekker room with a four-poster bed and a proper huge bathroom! The detail they put into everything is just wow. The staff made me feel right at home, so friendly and attentive, really top-notch service!
The shower water pressure could've been better, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all.

The room was large and comfortable, featuring amenities like a minibar and spacious bathroom. Service throughout the stay was exceptional, highlighting the team's friendly and professional approach. The dining experience was particularly enjoyable, with a well-prepared dinner and thoughtful take-out breakfast. The tranquil gardens and inviting lounges added to the relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat after work.
Some areas could benefit from updating.

Colonial charm with hospitality
The staff's warmth was palpable. Each morning, I awoke to a delightful breakfast spread, and my room felt like a cozy embrace with its charming decor. The lovely garden added to the ambiance, and the chefs were accommodating with special requests.
Some areas showed signs of needed maintenance, and parking was initially tricky. noise from the wooden floors above impacted my peaceful moments.

the location of my room was absolutely terrible, right outside the kitchen. I couldn’t escape the staff noises, it was like living in a beehive. I had to keep asking for dirty cups to be changed, which is just absurd. they probably think I enjoy filth. also, the shower woudl ve been a joke for a 5-star hotel, ugh!

beautifully restored Victorian manor, tranquil bird-filled garden, spacious adjoining bathroom
I found the shower pressure lacking for a top-rated establishment!!! The proximity to the kitchen created an atmosphere so loud and chaotic that I couldn’t enjoy my stay fully!!!

The Victorian charm was just unmatched! The themed room was super cozy and the garden area felt like paradise. Only downside was a previous guest's hair found in the shower. 😬

The staff provided amazing service, especially Brenda who helped with special requests and made us feel at home. The breakfast was absolutely scrumptious, and the garden surrounding the beautiful old Victorian building is a true sanctuary.
Though a bit of updating is needed in the general areas, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The drive to the hotel was a surprising transition from the street outside, yet it was a hidden gem once inside.

Couple seeking tranquility
From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was calming like something from a dream. The staff were amazing, Brenda in particular went beyond with service that actually felt personal instead of just routine.
It wasn't inexpensive but you get what you pay for, and I'd say it's still reasonable when considering the experience.
